The rooms at Hotel Excelsior were amazing! I absolutely loved the cozy seating area in certain rooms, perfect for relaxing after a long day of biking. The flat-screen TV and free WiFi were great too, allowing me to stay connected and entertained. Plus, the private bathroom with a refreshing shower was just what I needed. as a bike rider, I couldn't ask for more comfort and convenience!
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the blackout drapes/curtains in the rooms. But hey, that's just my preference, as I know some people actually enjoy having a darker environment for a good night's sleep.

Mind-blowing breakfast! Super fresh and delicious with a variety of breads, cheese, cold meats, and fresh fruit. The room was jaw-droppingly clean and tidy, providing a comfortable sleep. Easy access to the seaside and downtown with a bus stop right in front. Mr. Ed van der Linden and his staff were incredibly hospitable and made my stay even more enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing romantic escapade. The hotel offered a plush bed with fluffy pillows, perfect for a cuddle session with my partner. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast which offered quite the spread- from fresh fruit to hot eggs to delicate pastries. Not only that, but the hotel was also conveniently located a stone's throw away from all the restaurants and shopping we wanted to explore.
As much as we loved our stay, there were a couple of disappointments. First of all, the noise level was quite high, and the sound insulation could have been better. Secondly, there was no room service available during our stay, which was a bit of bummer since we wanted to spend a lot of time together in our room. it was a great stay, but there's definitely room for improvement in some areas.
